Ensō Screen philosophy

In the Anthropocene era, when trends are towards posturing over dialogue, oligarchy over constitutional democracy, and price over value, the Ensō Screen philosophy encompasses production quality, gender equity, authenticity, and sustainability.

Proven capability on quality productions is a high priority for the selection of all personnel. 


Investment will be optimised in script, crew, design and locations to maximise on-screen impact.

In all productions, we will ensure gender parity behind the camera, as well as on the screen. Females will fill more than 50% of all Above The Line, Heads of Departments and acting roles.


Opportunities will be offered to experienced female filmmakers to advance to more senior roles. Attachment, intern, and entry-level roles will be fulfilled by women at the start of their careers.


We are pledged to Collectif 50/50 and ReFrame Gender Equity.
